Government Pandit Madhav Rao Sapre College was established on 11th November 1989 in the name of Pandit Madhav Rao Sapre. College is affiliated to Bilaspur University. The College was shifted to the new building adjacent to the old structure in the year 2001. The institution was the only Girl’s College in the area in last session (2014-15). The college has been converted into a co-ed colege from the present session (2015-16) by the order of the Government of Chhattisgarh.
