Chhattisgarh Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC 

The Government of Chhattisgarh invites applications for Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC students, studying in above Class 12th. The aim of the scholarship is to support the post-matric education of students belonging to SC/ST/OBC community in Chhattisgarh. With the help of financial assistance, the scholarship promotes SC/ST/OBC students for higher education.

 

Who can apply for this scholarship ?

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must:

·        Be a permanent resident of Chhattisgarh state

·        Belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Other Backward Classes (OBC NCL)community.

·        Have an annual family income not exceeding INR 2.5 lakh .

·        Be studying in above Class 12

Step 2: Register as a new user by filling all the required details.
Step 3: Use registration credentials to login on the portal.
Step 4: Fill in the application form with all the relevant details.
Step 5:  Attach the required documents and submit the application.

 

What are the documents required for the Post Matric Scholarship for SC/ST/OBC 2018-19, Chhattisgarh?

  1. 1. Domicile certificate of Chhattisgarh.
  2. 2. Caste certificate.
  3. 3. Online applied application hard copy. Income certificate of parents/guardian
  4. 4. Self-attested copy of last qualifying mark sheet/certificate
  5. 5. Aadhar card and Bank pass book



  6. BPL Scholarship


  7. To encourage students from BPL families to pursue higher education, State Government has initiated BPL Scholarship scheme in Chhattisgarh, under which BPL college-students of all categories are entitled to monthly scholarship. 
    They are those students who does not get any scholarship or financial add  from  any other scholarship scheme.   Under BPL Scholarship Scheme, each eligible student of graduation-level is provided total scholarship of Rs 3000, at the rate Rs 300 per month, and that of PG-level are provided scholarship of total Rs 5000, at the rate of Rs 500 per month.



  8. ‘POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP’ FOR STUDENTS BELONGING TOTHE MINORITY COMMUNITIES


    The Prime Minister’s New 15 Point Programme for the Welfare of Minorities wasannounced in June, 2006. It provides that a post-matric scholarship scheme formeritorious students from minority communities would be implemented.

    Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marksor equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whoseparents/guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.
